Or expose people for their poor behavior. This missus here for example. Prefacing statements with "I'm not a climate scientist, but ..." promotes an idea of "ignorance is strength". And "I find the omission interesting" is implying criticism instead of expressing it to allow backtracking later.
And nostr is a particularly bad case if this? Dunno. I think you can just ignore the bigots.
Oh noes why? We've got such a great forum here, why not use it to sort out some of the more controversial things.
So instead of a presidential executive order to keep the debt ceiling you want a presidential veto from raising it? Is that possible?
You wished we could artificially interrupt that cycle? Well it wasn't easily but we certainly achieved it with decades of fossil fuel burning all over the whole world.
It would have been easier with CFCs btw which are orders of magnitude more potent greenhouse gases than CO2. If we ever wanted to interrupt the cycle again on purpose for whatever bizarre reason then that'd be the way to go.
there is a ~25000 year cycle broken up into 4 phases, and it is driven by a magnetic field oscillation that spirals outwards from the galactic centre, the so-called "galactic current sheet" because it carries electricity and energy particles along its flux lines
and yes, every time the field flips through 180 degrees all hell breaks loose and teher is often impactors formed from a mother of all solar flares from the sun that sets almost everything on fire and then with all that energy, the earth becomes covered in clouds, the ground is constantly shaking from piezoelectric discharge, lightning, the Cosmic Thunderbolt here and there completely nuking large regions via the God level electrostatic discharge, the atmosphere is full of ultraviolet and all kinds of gamma and beta and xray energy, most of the species of animals and plants get wiped out, the crust of the earth experiences so much twist from the magnetic field rotation that it usually reorients the entire surface of the earth to rotate at a different pair of poles, and last time it happened we got 1200 years of the Dryas period
there's way too many things to describe there but the notion that stars have flare events that are so big they could be called micro-novas is becoming more and more firmly established empirical science and our sun is gonna do that at some point too... i believe that it will be in the next 30 years, and the Carrington Event was a harbinger of what was to come
just look at the tracks of the magnetic poles in the last 30 years
here's some science, in case you thought i was just making all that up:

the rabbithole is way too deep to describe it in detail in a nostr kind 1 note
Of course, and every Wednesday morning at 9am, a flock of winged monkeys comes flying out of your ass.
Halide’s new ‘Process Zero’ feature takes photos with no AI, no processing, no nothing https://www.theverge.com/2024/8/14/24220178/halide-camera-app-process-zero-ai
The newest feature is not having any features.
One of the things I almost never see mentioned in the various climate debates is the observation that Earth is historically on the cooler side and is rising from that very low base.
The planet has historically gone through multiple cycles of not having polar ice caps and then having them again, etc. Over millions of years. There's been a really long-term feedback loop there.
I'm not a climate scientist by any stretch, but I just find that general omission in public discussions around it to be interesting.

Well if you don't have facts all you have is allusions.
Have you considered using a programming language.

Not sure I understand all of this: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0032.mediawiki#user-content-Specification_Key_derivation
But like I said "deriving" a key usually means computing a hash on some string of bits and then just use that as the private key more or less directly. In BIP 32 the input bits are just the private (parent) key.
Didn't the devs of Calyx OS have something like this.
