I was too young to fully understand the last one but in this one, I have no many in banks to run for, only dept. :D
I am frightened by the "modern" people refusing to use cash with argument that it is inconvenient.
They do it even in situations where they expose themself to the risk of the abuse by the State (buying/selling Bitcoin or doing agresive tax optimizations).
It is crazy. For a small upside of inconvenience they are willing to risk a tax audit or at least bank asking very inconvenient questions.
Woke up! Cash is the king. Cash is anonymous, hard to confiscate and fungible. Use it everywhere where you can.
Many times it's better then Bitcoin, because it is trully anonymous!

People move money from small banks to big ones to reduce risk of losing funds when small bank bankrupts.
Why not move it to the biggest bank of them all then? Bank that will never fail, saftey of all deposits guaranteed by the State. It will reduce complexity, remove middle-man's, limits fees and transaction costs...

You expose yourself to two risks at once:
- Bank failure (bankruptcy, confiscation, embezzlement, ...)
- Shitcoin issuer (bankruptcy, confiscation, embezzlement, ...)
Those risk MULTIPLIES!
(Un)stablecoins are multiplication of two counterparty risks.
Risk of ruin = Risk of bank collapse (or embezzlement, confiscation, regulatory control, ...) x Risk of coin issuer collapse (or embezzlement, confiscation, regulatory control, ...)

What is the difference between "centralized" relay provider to store your data and "centralized" CDN provider to store your data.
What is the difference from Nostr? Instead of CDN you have a relay.
What is Nostr missing to get to that?
