The universe is neutral, people are not. Issues rarely simple, progress rarely difficult. Thinking is deliberate.

The emphasis on the Epstein list is smoke and mirrors distracting us from the REAL issue at hand.

It has been claimed beyond reasonable doubt that there is VIDEO evidence of our government officials engaging sexually with minors. THAT is the proof we have a right to know IMMEDIATELY and is THE acid test for these officials suitability to serve further in ANY official capacity.

If we lose 75% of our sitting officials at midterms so be it.

Bondi, Patel and TRUMP stop fucking around. Further delays on THIS matter alone is reason for your immediate ouster.

We’d be further ahead with a government of complete greenhorns, acting within the constraints of our government functioning as designed, than being controlled by a foreign power.

CAN YOU FUCKING HEAR US NOW?

Could they be laughing any harder?!

The MANDIBLES are closing on us at breakneck speed. A month ago I was not able to deposit cash into my own account without providing my drivers license.

Where could we be if accumulated history and knowledge of ALL things to date were freely available to ANYONE interested?

Though I can’t possibly know ALL things, it is important to me to know that given time and effort, I have the ability to understand ANYTHING but I need access—anonymous access. Increasingly you must identify yourself (sign in) to access materials. Archive.org requires login. The number of people actually pursuing knowledge of things is dismally small, so why isn’t it?

Because knowledge is power and power is rarely shared willingly and certainly not widely.

The digitization of accumulated knowledge, access to it and the destruction of original materials is an unmitigated disaster as it is being done today.

Is there a way to peer review history and record it irreversibly?

I understand ANY recorded history is vulnerable to victors/writers bias and must involve multiple viewpoints. But having ONE arbiter, as we are very near to is the worst possible method.

GM ride or dies!

“when a people is subjected to a long train of abuses aiming at absolute despotism, "it is their right, it is their duty," to change the government. This duty is higher than one's own personal survival or selfish interest. It may in fact require the sacrifice of one's own life. That is why the Declaration concludes with these noble words: "We pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."”

Thank you for demonstrating the value of peer review as opposed to “authority” review. My original post was a gross over simplification that could not stand without further explanation.

Initially a person taking a position honestly or dishonestly believes/claims they are “correct.” My statement did not address this tendency.

A REASONABLE amount of effort by the individual to establish “correct” must proceed running headlong into locating supporting data.

In this phase you are considering and open to supporting AND contradictory information to validate or debunk your hypothesis.

This should only be as involved as your position warrants to go “public” with your position. A simple process such as following Norman Edmunds SM-14 (scientific method) works beautifully and had I followed my own advice, I could have avoided posting “Swiss cheese.”

Another good practice (which I know and failed to apply 🥴) was eloquently expressed by “Meatloaf”:

Not to worry, you’re not alone, you’ll find out soon enough and life is so granular you’ve probably got most of it right.

Most live today like people on a rafting trip, partying away. They can hear the waterfall ahead but they think there's still time yet to party. The roaring end is inevitable, they evade reality anyway. It's not real to them until it gets real. After it's too late many wonder if they simply took action sooner, things might be different …

… some are still waiting for assurance.

To stumble upon, recognize as evil, accept as the way of things, neither furthering nor resisting rather simply operating within, is safe—for now but not the way of an evolved person.

Be a wrench and carry sand in your pockets.

Confirmation bias in itself isn’t a problem. It’s a liability if your views are skewed, if correct it’s a fast track.

A story about Americans returned to the primitive …

… a country where the human-like natives have regressed beyond the Renaissance. We soon learn why: the technical elite plunge the literate and the curious into social media, drowning them in latrines or hanging them in public squares, drenched in lard.

This is a very good movie, not sure why it's called a "Russian movie," probably propaganda, it's about the U.S.
