Funny that the leader of the libertarian party does not have any clue what the word libertarian means.

I don’t run a node to be profitable

I didn’t switch to Knots to be profitable

I didn’t buy a BitAxe and Canaan Avalon Nano 3s to be profitable

I didn’t join nostr:npub1x8xa3dw79urgev8pvuzdk7uupcrvqj9cwduq0yypzzkr0m3gkwks07q3eq to be profitable.

I do all this to support the Bitcoin Network and VOTE my god given right as a sovereign individual.

Freedom isn’t free, nor profitable… but I’ll be damned if I don’t do what I can to preserve it.

Happy Independence Day! 🫡

Excellent! I am reminded that satoshi’s coins had zero market value when he mined them. When I first mined bitcoin in 2013, I stopped soon thereafter because I wasn’t profitable. If only I knew then what I know now (not only that those coins would sell for $100k about a decade later, but also that it’s not just about profitability, it’s about standing for something you believe is right).

They said it was for the black man

They said it was for the Mexican, and not for the white man

But if you look at the street, it wasn't about Rodney King

And this fucked up situation, and these fucked up police

It's about coming up and stayin' on top

And screamin', "187 on a motherfuckin' cop"

One of the most fun parts of in n out is the secret menu. Animal style, protein style, animal fries…probably more I don’t know about.

Care to elaborate? In what way is bitcoin not fungible?

This is the only location in Las Vegas that will accept bitcoin.

I finally made a trip to Steak n Shake today. The location I went to was in a casino in Las Vegas, and they did not accept bitcoin. They told me the only one in Las Vegas that accepts bitcoin is the downtown location on Fremont St. Also, they did not offer burger patties a la carte, I had to order a burger plain (which came with fries). I ate the burger patties and cheese and since they were fried in tallow I ate the fries also, but left the bun. 😕

I want a babelfish but until then this seems pretty cool. Like watching a foreign movie with subtitles.

It seems likely some competitor will offer the version with lower fees. Then the market will decide if the cost is worth it to help out the node runners.

You say it’s reasonable to remove the limit. Does knots allow you to remove the limit on your node? Does core allow you to enforce the limit? What is the justification for not allowing a node runner to choose the policy for her node?

Citrea will choose to make their system more expensive for its users just to help out the node runners?

And even if they did, isn’t citrea open source? I assume it wouldn’t be difficult to fork to a version that uses witness data to reduce costs. Will the market choose to pay the higher fees as a charity to node runners?

But Jill Biden insists that, behind closed doors, his prostate is “sharp as a tack.”

You are confused. You want “voluntaryism” enforced by mandatory taxation, property confiscation, an international police force, and state violence.

No thanks but good luck to you and your taxes. I will continue to advocate for voluntarism.
