imo as someone who only played an hour and hasnt seen what the devs have said, cruelty squad seems to be made by 4channers but redditors think its a leftist game because "capitalism bad"
obviously theres some truth there but i think being anti corporatism isnt inherently leftist and taking it to absurdist extremes is just fun cyberpunk world building

only news story i heard about since then was a train with a nuke on it turned ohio into a crater or whatever
on valentines day i went to see the love is war movie (anime) in the theater and when i tried scanning my phone the machine wasnt working. i look next to me and theres a cute girl having the same problem. i strike up a conversation with her and it turns out she was also going to see the same movie, but i was going to the 8:00 showing and she was late for the 7:30.
about half an hour later my dumb ass was sitting in the theater by myself realizing i could have bought her a ticket
