Running Bitcoin

I have a sneaking suspicion that #nostr cares more about the price of bitcoin than they do about birds.

This is the best meme I’ve seen all day. nostr:note1egu0remqhqepeaj04yw5wm84h3asj96vj5q76rr0eczkd7v0rvss6hcwa0

This meme is incredible. You’ve made my day brighter.

I’m hoping for a bitcoin correction. I’m not mentally prepared to go parabolic again.

Daily Roman History:

During the late republic in 119BC a voting reform was passed by then Tribune Gaius Marius to narrow the hallway leading to the election ballot box. This was done to prevent party supporters from occupying the hallway and heckling voters to their side, ranging from bribery to threats of violence. Before the reform this was common practise.

Good morning Nostr

Bird of the day: Budgerigar

I go a respectable amount.

I’ve never been told in my life that the McDonald’s ice cream machine is broken. Am I in the simulation?

Fuck. I should have used that caption.

Daily Roman Facts:

After ending the crisis of the third century, reforming the Empires coinage system, creating the Tetrarchy power division, and several successful military campaigns the Emperor Diocletian also holds the distinction of being the first emperor to abdicate the throne voluntarily as illnesses began to take hold. Retiring to his hobby of gardening in his palace in Salona (modern-day Split, Croatia) he was beseeched many times to reclaim his throne as the Tetrarchy fell apart under ambitious successors, most notably Constantine the Great. His reply: "If you could show the cabbage that I planted with my own hands to your Emperor, he definitely wouldn't dare suggest that I replace the peace and happiness of this place with the storms of a never-satisfied greed".
