some boater clients, like Damus (test flight) or Amethyst allow you to send or receive small amounts of bitcoin as tips. Damus on iOS will have this soon.
just filtering the feed by language or character set at this point would eliminate 90% of the spam I see. Mastodon has this feature.
Don’t know about you test-flighters, but the app store Damus global feed is still absolute garbage. Yes, I have paid relays. I have to turn off just about every public relay I try.
