I think it is strange to celebrate in the cold of winter. You can celebrate one day in the winter for the birth of Christ and have an elaborate New Year's celebration in the spring. You can even put the first day of the new year on April 1st.

Imagine a nuclear family of 5 in the United States. Imagine they were based and well-nourished and loved each other wholeheartedly like a proper family should.

Does it make sense for each of the 3 kids to rush out of the parent’s home when they’re 18 and start paying at least $3,000/month to live alone in the modern world? 3 rent payments, 3 TVs, 3 power bills, 3 internet payments, 3 shower curtains, 3 doormats, on and on and on. 3k covers the bare minimum to get by too, not much able to accumulate wealth at that age and experience.

Or…

Would it make more sense for the progeny to stay with the parents, help them and help take care of the homestead, and allow the kids to start accumulating capital while they also start a trade / career / business and remain in a constructive and loving family environment? The later is clearly the better option.

I understand this wouldn’t work in every case and circumstance but it should be more normal and something parents strive to provide.

There is absolutely no way I would raise a family and not want them to stay with me as long as they wanted. I would buildout a righteous compound and encourage remaining a unit until the end. The isolationist norms of today ain’t right…

No and with natural pool you actually don’t want flow. They should be an isolated body of water (that includes isolated from the ground with a liner).

My dream is build one and then enclose it in a greenhouse so I have a climate controlled area that’s warm year round to swim in.
