I recently attended a local arts festival and couldn’t help but envision how Bitcoin could be utilized to create a truly peer-to-peer commerce experience. I’m excited to invite you to join me in establishing a Bitcoin circular economy for artists while also helping others appreciate the beauty of Bitcoin. I am working to create an exciting event that combines the worlds of art and Bitcoin: the Bitcoin Arts Festival, coming soon to Utah!
This festival aims to showcase the creativity and innovation of Bitcoin artists while demonstrating the seamless potential of peer-to-peer commerce through the Lightning Network, all set against the stunning backdrop of Utah, with its convenient international airport.
What I Hope to Accomplish:
Bitcoin-Centric Art: We invite Bitcoin artists from around the world to showcase and sell their artwork. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, digital artist, or creator in any medium, this is your platform to shine.
Lightning Payments: All transactions at the festival will be conducted via the Lightning Network, showcasing the efficiency and speed of Bitcoin transactions in real-time. A dedicated concierge team will be on hand to assist attendees in setting up and navigating Lightning payments for food, art purchases, and merchandise.
Community and Education: Beyond art and technology, this event aims to educate and engage attendees in the principles of Bitcoin. It’s an opportunity to “orange pill” friends and family by demonstrating firsthand how Bitcoin works and its potential to revolutionize commerce.
