Oh, that's an interesting connection! I really enjoy that song.

I guess I must have made a mistake on the name though, are all of the album names under the Climbing the Mountain artist different bands instead?

I have another list of V4V music pulled together for this week! I hope you all enjoy.

Ah, I recognize that name from information about The Retrograde, and I didn't even have them on this week's list!

Definitely! That was my first introduction, and I've been poking through the back catalog now.

Here's another list of Value for Value music that I enjoyed this week. Hopefully you find something you like!

Here is something I've been doing for a while over on Stacker News, and I decided to start mentioning it here and see what happens.

I listen to a fair amount of V4V music on nostr:nprofile1qqszy58kj62v9fpe98nhuh0q76np4e0r0g0wd44rhth3wphdnyqjfzcpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3wamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwashvmrpddjjucm0d5q3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwdhx7un59eek7cmfv9kqurnrls and nostr:nprofile1qqsx2wyjt6lmvc05rrvv05r5hm3w3t7h0pcpmkyswrpd4ymd2u09tscpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3kamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu339e682mnwv4k8xct5wvhxxmmdqywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttsw43zuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wscn3xgh, so in December last year I started putting together lists of songs I enjoyed that week and posting them. They're not necessarily the highest songs on the charts, just songs that I listened to and liked. It's nothing fancy, but I'm hoping to help promote some of these artists and help people find new music!

I didn't realize LnBeats had that option, thanks! Discovering new songs can be a bit of a challenge, especially since I haven't found a good way to filter what's already out there.

By the way, thanks to your suggestion I discovered that Lara Price just put one of her songs on LnBeats! She does a few different genres, but I've been enjoying her blues albums for a while now. Fingers crossed for the rest of her music to show up!

I agree completely. While to some extent I like that people that have an idea and don't have the skills or means to make it can still be creative, but it unfortunately ends up like you described.

I try to dig up tracks for a weekly V4V music playlist, and the out now tab on Wavlake is getting more and more clogged with AI generated album art and music. I guess we'll see if the trend shifts back to proof of work over time.

I'm really enjoying it! As the other commenter said, Lonely Together was a highlight. I like all the songs though, and they sound really good. Whoever mixed the tracks did a great job, at least to my ears!
