“Karnage” is just a stupid temporary name I carried over from a mobile game I used to play. People followed me so it didn’t make sense to change. Will be awkward to use in person at Nostrasia, this fall 😆 😬

I came with the initial “Jack Wave” back in December I think? Maybe late November of last year. What got me intrigued is the inter-operability of this protocol and the network effects potential. I think it is unmatched in what it offers and there’s a HUGE opportunity to work in this space. I fully expect Nostr to win (just a matter of time)

In my late 30’s, wife, 2 kids, live in Japan.🇺🇸 (expat from US) but I don’t have a handle on the language. I joke that I may just live here forever without learning 😂

Broad background in all the nerdy fields nobody likes (SEO, marketing, ecommerce, digital products, affiliate marketing, startups). I’ve started a few things but not really successful. My day gig is freelance design work. Before that it was … get ready for it, it’s a mouthful …. “Conversion optimization” consulting. Basically teaching startups how to get you to pay up.

I like designing the most. Can do it all day. Already do it all day. Mac user. Windows user. iOS user, past android user. Reject all labels. No left, no right, no attachment to any nation or identity. I’m human first, purple cat second. Passionate about fairness and openness. Intrigued about most things. Embrace chaos, reject status quo, question everything, be kind to others.

Wanted to see some clients looking nicer, so I started helping Snort without being asked. Somehow the awesome devs didn’t mind the intrusion. 🙏

I love bitcoin but I think life is so much more than that. It’s only to make something your obsession but consider why you’re obsessing over it in the first place - big picture stuff.

Biggest topics of interest: startups, AI, tech, Nostr (obviously).

Will follow anyone as long as you don’t spam, or talk exclusively about bitcoin / share quotes only — all the boring things that are probably fine with people who are new to these concepts, but I’ve seen way too much of it. Everyone is welcome here, a start of something beautiful 😻

Well, while I idealize a stateless society, I recognize that we live in a world of nation states, and that some of them (China) are more dangerous than others.

In 2013 I sold all the Bitcoin I'd bought in 2012 because i was going to school full time and had bills to pay. Never again have i owned that much Bitcoin. Short sighted.

I'm using Wallet Of Satoshi and you copy & paste the" LN address " into whatever nostr app you're using.
