How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

A good friend of mine told me it was the future. This was either in 2010 or 2011, probably 2011. No attention was paid at the time. Zero 👌
Yeah same. Summer of 2011 somebody told me about it off hand and I looked at it for about five minutes and was like yeah ok IDK. Wasn't until i heard some people talking about it on a podcast in late 2012 as freedom money that I started to get interested.
I think my second touch was in 2013 when Silk Road was shutdown. I wasn’t paying enough attention then. Another hard pass.
After I read about the Stock-to-Flow model by PlanB for the first time.
Back in 2011. I had a friend who lived in Montreal , a really smart dude but unfortunately smoked all day. Unfortunately, I didn't give much attention.
Around 2012 (+-1 year) my brother walked in while I was playing video games and sat down next to me to join. Mentioned Bitcoin. We both shrugged and continued to play. Too young to understand or care.
