#grownostr #compostworms #biochar #garden these guys are doing awesome in the 20 gallon garbage can. It is full of biochar, coffee and vegetable scraps.

#airpot #grownostr #gardening round planting basket from Amazon as a air pot worked pretty great. Roots look good, not circling, the pot is a little flimsy, would like something more sturdy.

You get used to them, not great. Although the bees here are so tame compared to Seattle.

I’m just in the suburbs, so just new plants and berries.

#garden #grownostr #sorghum these are volunteer sorghum that have popped up in several places great plant. Super fast to grow probably about 6 feet in a couple weeks. I will harvest them for seeds and then cut them and use them as mulch.

#elderberry #grownostr my elderberry has struggled this year. I’ll probably get a couple berries heavy pest damage and it’s probably just too hot for where they’re at.

#grownostr #mulberry “dwarf” mulberry trees. These things are awesome, silk worms ate all their leaves, they bounce back and have grown about 9’ this year… fall I’ll be selling some cuttings.

#fireants #grownostr when Fire ants take over a planted pot, I’ll surround with diatomaceous earth. Seems to get them gone.

#bioreactor #grownostr bioreactor automated with watering, cowpea, sorghum, going good.

#grownostr #garden #pond i need to pot out these plants that propagated, growing great. Too great…

#garden #grownostr cucumbers are getting some mildew, had plenty of them for the year so it’s ok.

#grownostr #stocktank #garden #mulberry #cuttings got some mulberry cuttings to work on this simple concrete tray, mechanical timer setup. Not the best because it’s in evening sun.

15 minutes on, 15 off all day, shade cuttings with pond plant basket.

#compostworm #juice #grownostr #garden ok, I watered this plant a few times with diluted compost worm juice. It hasn’t grown for a long time and now it’s growing well.

Worm juice might have worked!

I’ll use it in my compost worm bin, then harvest that and place around plants or in garden beds. Compost worms do really well in it. I’ll grind it up with a wood chipper to about rice size.

#biochar #grownostr another batch of biochar with the best biochar kiln, a little warm down in Texas!
