Hi nostriches! Trying to get zap-ready for the next zap-athon, I tried to install Alby on Brave. Got this error message: "There was a problem with the download. Please contact the developer or try again later. Invalid manifest" - please advise #asknostr
Should there be language management on #nostr ? I would like to be able to follow a user, hashtag, etc but only see posts in those languages that I speak.
On iris.to I see the same 20 as on damus
Even with the same relay list I don't see ODELL in the People list on nostr.kiwi, and a search doesn't find him. In fact, on damus I follow 20 users, and on kiwi I only see 13 of them
I am trying out nostr.kiwi, looks cool but I can see only some of the users that I followed in damus. For example I don't see @ODELL
I somewhat agree. Nevertheless, we'll probably need a whole new generation of tools and techniques, to curate what we do and don't want to see in our individual feeds. This will become a much larger issue when there are many more people on #nostr, and spammers start appearing in droves
Thanks - as an alternative to iris you mean? What is a follow list for?
Ok, trying to post from iris.to using nos2x, here goes...
#plebchain which browser do you use for posting on nostr?
Wait you can run a node on your phone?
#asknostr Brave browser yay or nay?
Gm #nostr ! Question: Brave browser, yay or nay?
Damus shows new items at the top though, wouldn't it be more consistent with what you said to scroll down instead of up?
Sadly this business model is now deeply wedged into people's minds... both of makers and users. I hope we're able to escape its gravity well
Sorry I'm not yet set up to participate in the #zapathon
Haven't found a way yet but it's only day 3 for me
When you "Report" a user in nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 , who gets the report and what happens?
None!
Use Alby or Nos2x by fiatjaf for Chrome/Firefox.
I think it utilizes NIP-07 to sign for events 😊

🤙
Got it. It would be helpful if sites like iris gave that hint. The first thing I see there is "Private key access" -> "paste a private key"
Thanks - one thing a day is a sound strategy. Be humble, stack knowledge
