You can. There's boost and quote options. What client (app) are you using?
damus. if i boost it wont pull up the menu that lets me boost or quote. heard i can jsut link to it tho ?
Yeah I'm not exactly sure how it works on damus cause I'm on Amethyst (android). But yes, if you copy the noteID itll be the same as boosting and you can quote from there.
Top right three dots copy note id
Then type @
And paste note is right after the @
No spaces.

I don't have Damus, but is there just a share or copy for note id? That is a link to the note on snort which is a web client. Good for sending to non nostr peeps, but that note is what you need. Lemme try this.

Depending on the client you may not even need the nostr: tag before noteid
Damus users need to long press the note to get the noteID.
