Twitter's network effect is very strong, for sure. That being said, a newbie just checking out #Nostr has a pretty hard time. Try it out - create a new nsec and put it into a random client, and pretend you don't know that much about whom to follow or how relays work (because normies just won't know that), just try to "discover" what's on here as if you were new to it.
Finding people when starting is too hard imo. Adding relays is confusing too

On this topic, I highly recommend the "Money as Debt" film linked here:

Most people are not willing to pay the price of freedom, even when the price is quite cheap. They prefer the "free" stuff that leads to captivity
The idea seems good but since google is behind it I'm suspicious 🤨
Cramer has the key to immortality, he can just announce every single day that today will be his last day.
He thinks it failed because too few normal people are using it, and the "sly roundabout way" was not stealthy enough since it is already on everyone's radar. (IIRC he's into ethereum)
Happy new year Nostriches!
Do you have any thoughts on FIDO passkeys?

Not wrong actually
Trouble is, the code will still need to be reviewed. Programmers will become full-time code reviewers
