It looks like you only need a wallet supporting nip57 for receiving. But any lightning wallet works for sending.
Yeah no I agree with your possible solution. But once you get into picking what you think the user wants to see the most out of their followers it gets tricky.
This is where it gets tricky IMO. How do you show the content people want to see once it gets to a large amount without manipulating the algo in a potentially non positive way. Its probs started out as an innocent thing on a lot of the big tech corps we see now.

I saw your post about best minds destroyed by ordinals. Couldn't tell which way you leaned. I completely agree. So many minds I highly respected made completely non technical arguments against it and I found it very disappointing.
I'm assuming you hate it but i love the idea of permanent time stamping but i don't get the idea of trading it.
It feels like were actually talking to each other 1 on 1 here on nostr. On Twitter it feels like someone is always in between, watching and recording.
Twitter is like going out in public in some place you don't want to be (which is why I rarely use it in my home cause it feels like bringing public into my home) while nostr is much more of a chill local pub vibe imo. For now at least.
So I set up LightningTipBot, but I'm using muun for zaps, and they do seem to be showing up on nostr's interface... so I have no idea what I'm doing lol... Is lntipbot only for receiving?
