I'd like to send my old Nikon FM10 to Japan for maintenance care; I don't really know how could that work. But I'm imagining sending it to a photography lover as well, particularly for film photography; I can't find good help in my home country (๐ฒ๐ฝ ); but I'm pretty confident nostr can help arrange a good alternative to make it happen; maybe connect from some photographers from there ๐ซถ. I use an old PENTAX MX, not a Nikon FM.
The PENTAX MX is a camera manufactured over 40 years ago, and cannot be repaired by current PENTAX.
Therefore, I follow the X account of a workshop that repairs such old cameras.
If there is a problem with my PENTAX MX BODY, I will ask one of them to repair it.
From the contents of their regular posts, I judge that they are reliable and skilled craftsmen.
They rely on broken camera bodies distributed in Japan to procure parts. Therefore, repair costs tend to be high.
