Question for Canadian Bitcoiners: If I were to drive over the border from NY and want to buy bitcoin with cash from the post office, can I use USD or do need to get Canadian dollars first? Also what is the No-KYC limit for this transaction at the post offices?
The most annoying election of our lifelines SO FAR. As I I’ve aged, I’ve seen a continuing trend of ever more ridiculous election cycles.
It still surprises me when I seen big down days for the #bitcoin price. I’m always wondering when the world will better understand Bitcoin. We are still early. I’m going to keep stacking as always and not fret about foolish sellers.
That is odd. I bought more than usual during the March 2020 dip/crash/panic or whatever James wants to call it. After checking my notes, yep, it is a fuck-ton more valuable today. I fail to see how this is a problem.
Bitcoiners, wear your helmets and protect yourselves from the FUD armies. We have many battles ahead. Do not surrender your keys.
HODL ON TO SELF SOVEREIGN VICTORY
This was a really great discussion. Recommend highly nostr:note1uztmp6jwjdluej4greu4kj54gqjhmw9she9fzprn2unk4082v7aqvvhrgx
Plebs in Asia are now waking up and reading the news that the SEC has finally approved spot #bitcoin ETFs. Some will be front-running the first day of trading here in the US and buying the real thing as they should.
The institutions are coming tomorrow, for real this time.
And some people are selling #bitcoin today.
Doesn’t make sense to me.
Sending a scheduled tweet is harder than sending #bitcoin
Does anyone have a link to the FINCEN proposal analysis that nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z published?
🤣🤣 That lawyer doesn’t understand Satoshi at all. Satoshi doesn’t operate by. “What would the law say? What would my government say?”

I will gladly let this thing steal my job of doing the dishes in the kitchen.
I often give #Bitcoin books as gifts. A small percentage of them actually get read by the recipient. I always state something like “Because I care about you, I am giving this extremely valuable book to you. If you read it and want more information about Bitcoin, you can ask me anytime”. Some do follow up with me.
I preach privacy from day one. I explain that running your own node enhances your privacy and reduces the visibility of your stack. When reflecting on who has actually done the work to run their own nodes, I’ve realized they are all also programmers, like me. Others I’ve orange-pilled who don’t run nodes are all non-programmers. They are successful in their professions, but they aren’t software professionals.
Also of note, none of them decided to get into bitcoin until after hearing me advocate for it many times over multiple years.
They all have eventually said “I wish I would have taken the advice sooner.” Maybe I can raise the percentage of node runners over time.
I run nodes myself. Of the people I have orange-pilled over the years, 50% run their own nodes.
