so the idea of community labeling is you could subscribe to someone else’s label list, i.e. the EFF labeled these 100 people “troll”, and you could mass-block based on this. not sure if this solves your exact problem, but at least a third party would maintain the list

There's potentially ways to make blocks more private, but it's a research project that would take more time to figure out. The AT Protocol (which Bluesky is built on) is a protocol for public conversation, so almost all the data it handles right now is public. We built the straightforward solution.
