True tech utopia should have all kinds of members—physicists, mathematicians, biologists—and not just crypto junkies.

Someone please explain all kinds of wallets to me. I knew there were hard and soft wallets and we could store our crypto in exchanges. What else am I missing? What is suddenly this lightning wallet now... some layer over and above the Blockchain?

There must be a way to delete one's own account and posts even in #Nostr. Do not settle for a decentralised system just because it defies centralised Governance while denying the basic human dignity, the right to be forgotten and choice to make amends.
Account deletion must be an option.
Theory: the United States wants to purge all its global debts by creating this fad around Bitcoin etc. I believe the technology could be great but that's not what governments want.
I may not be explain further.
My question still remains unanswered:
What if some day I wish to vanish with none of my posts remaining on #Nostr, how would I be able to do that? There must be a way to delete account, or all content in a single click, a way to be forgotten.
Nobody drops their phone. Unless they want a new one.
Found this on Twitter
“Sovereign is he who decides on the exception” typically implies that every society will end up with a Caesar-like figure who has the power to make law, but is not constrained by it.
But in practice, the West has largely redefined "the exception" to simply mean some sort of crisis management.
Yet if one looks at the past five years, it's clear that neither Congress nor the President are the ones called upon to manage a crisis. Congress has lost the will to do anything but rename post offices, while the President has lost the ability to control even the Executive Branch.
So, who manages crises when they pop up in the West? The so-called "Elite Human Capital," our technocratic managerial class.
Anthony Fauci was the sovereign during COVID. Central Banks were the sovereign in 2009 and 2020. The FBI, CIA, and Homeland Security were sovereign during the War on Terror. The bureaucrat is now the perpetual sovereign, but it does not claim to be.
This is why people instinctively realize there is a boot on their neck, but they can't identify whose boot it is.
We live in a tyranny without tyrants. Decisions are clearly being made, but they're never being owned by anyone. No one has any idea who to blame when things go wrong, because how can you blame a nameless, faceless, bureaucratic blob? If you can't even identify the one oppressing you, you can't overthrow them.
