Is there a cap on the price of coffee to the consumer though? Like in a shop? I can't keep track of all the price controls where.
Digital is an abstraction over analog.
Most electronic digital signals are an analog voltage level. Depending on the voltage, it will be classified as an 1 or a 0. The analog reference voltage is not always the same, for example it could be 12V, 5V, 3.3V, 1.2V etc...
Abstractions and useful and powerful. But at the end of the day, analog powers the world.
For digital life yes. AI is the natural next step in digital anything. Our digital lives are limited however to basically two I/O ports: light and sound.
Analog life still remains unchanged and uses a full continuinm of I/O.
Turns out, humans are becoming more like computers if we restrict our selves to the digital domain. Which in turn, makes AI easier to copy human digital behavior.
So I don't think there is any new loss or hand wringing over AI for me. That ship has sailed when we all decided to put screens in front of our faces.
Cassettes are so cool, they even show up on vinyl records.

I'm more embedded than pure EE, but I can take a look a bit later today.
I recently changed my default zap from 21 sats to 73 sats.
'73' has a meaning in ham radio that is rooted in tradition and history.
It's not just a number — it's a time-honored way of saying 'Best Regards.' Originating from early telegraphy, this shorthand has been used by radio operators for over a century to sign off with warmth and goodwill.
So, next time you hear '73,' or get zapped 73 sats remember, it's more than a farewell — it's a friendly wish for the best.
If you haven’t been zapped 73 sats by me yet, post some radio comment. It will help me find it if you use some radio related hashtags. You might even get zapped for bringing radio content to my attention by replying to it with nostr:npub1ya20ep3dd0qt0suhzprxztv5y43arqwps73ercvqa44sp7qw0edsp4x9ty .

That guy's so baller -- hamming it up on Park Avenue. I never saw anyone bust out their HT like that in midtown Manhattan.
They should have kept the panam logo on the now Metlife building.
This is the way. Originally I was going to lame-out and third party host my audiozine, then nostr:nprofile1qqsd4dkxqewy8xum47ctpu0ltgxxsfemeewpjkdyzk9ddfcg286s0dspr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucmewp5x2unsw4hxktn5dajxz7gppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctv9uhvzusl was like, "do you really want your zine on a hosted platform."
So yeah, bitpunk.fm is coming to you from not even a vps, but I piece of hardware I own.
Another day another NostrBro trying to reinvent podcasting.

What we next is an index, maybe we call it a podcast index. If it's on nostr we can call it podcasting index 2.0.
😜 (I'm being sarcastic btw)
This was one of the saddest passages I've read in a while. 😔
"The Apache was a hard foe to subdue" according to John Gregory Bourke, "not because he was full of wiles and tricks and experienced in all that pertains to the art of war, but because he had so few artificial wants and depended almost on what his great mother -- Nature -- stood ready to supply. Our government had never been able to starve any of them until it had them placed on a reservation."
From Analogia, by George Dyson.
You can have this. Or you can have orange summer. Your choice.

Those toppings on that pizza tho -- they splurged.
The 140 character limit was the best thing it had.
Yeah, honestly I would hang on to this one if you like it. I upgraded to the ft5dr for the digital radio. But I wish I would have kept this for analog and got an anyone for the digital voice stuff.
This was my first radio 😢
I gifted it to a friend so it lives on. I really though appreciated the button only approach.
Ah, I had the sense they were older mine are about double that.
Well, I'm booking flights for Prague early October this week but sadly without the family. Hopefully I'll be speaking at hcpp but I figured I'd go anyway.
There is a chance perhaps I'll will return in November with the kids though.
The nice problem I have, is that there are so many wonderful people to meet in cz/sk and I do the typical American thing of like visiting for 4 days or so. It would be probably cheaper if I just stayed for longer 🤷
What are some good museums for kids in Prague? I think perhaps my "mini cassettes" are close in age to your cubs 😂
If you go to Bratislava, I highly recommend the Aurellium museum. My kids loved it and honestly one of the better / more interactive museums I have ever been to.
Looked amazing! All signal and only noise from jetskis 😀
Perfect venue for real connections -- nature.
Perhaps you are the first. Write the spec :) that's how we ended up with these BIPs. Trezor needed it, do they submitted the BIP.
Life advice is best in caps.
So this is what it feels like to be part of a gen Z trend.
