BITCOIN & FAX - Two technologies loved by Germans 😂
Yo nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7emjda6hquewxpuxx6rpwshxxmmd9uqjqamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wv45kuatwv3a8wctw0f5kwtnnwpskxef0qyfhwumn8ghj7ur4wfcxcetsv9njuetn9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcqypca7ggex8fxaeq3y8fft02re0r78qjstcenkhqn6sqkemv4gtvaw5y2ehg , Bitcoin Fax is my baby... what is weird about the prices?
Dictation app invented a new protocol: 'nostril protocol'.
No one mention in this thread of people rushing to open lightning channels. Take advantage team!
As a user of a mint, it would be handy for the mint to expose which node/channels it uses.
Assuming it has public channels.
Never saw an example, I think the closest we can get is NWC with some sort of push notification?
You can use the boltz plugin to receive lightning and swap to liquid bitcoin. Or use phoenixd as funding source which also needs 0 liquidity management.
https://blog.boltz.exchange/p/launching-the-boltz-btcpay-plugin
I think phoenixd is a good tip. IMO liquid is a stretch to most 'Bitcoin aware' people.
I love lightning but a couple of my Bitcoin accepting merchants don't accept Lightning.
One merchant did but rolled back because they were clueless on liquidity management.
Both merchants use BTCPay Server, do we have a cashu plugin to shill?
That way liquidity management is outsourced to the mint.

I have some exciting news to share with you all!
Last week, I submitted my resignation letter. It’s official: I’m leaving my 9-5 fiat mine to dedicate myself FULL-TIME to my passion—my #Bitcoin podcast. 🧡🎙️
This is more than a career shift. It’s a mission.
2/ Starting this December, I’ll be focusing 100% on:
🎙️ Growing the podcast
📚 Educating and onboarding as many people as possible into Bitcoin
🌍 Building a thriving community around financial sovereignty
3/ The time has come to break free from the corrupt, soul-sucking fiat system and embrace a future of hope, prosperity, and meaning.
I’m stepping into a brave new world—a world where #Bitcoin offers freedom, fairness, and endless possibilities. ✊🟠
4/ To everyone who has supported me on this journey—thank you. Your belief in me and in Bitcoin has made this leap possible. 🙌
This isn’t just my journey—it’s OUR journey. Together, we’re building something incredible. 🚀
5/ If you’ve been following my podcast, now’s the perfect time to subscribe, share, and get involved. Big things are on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Ballsy, good luck.
Was at an arts and crafts fair today, getting some gifts and evangelizing bitcoin where I could. On a second pass, one woman had her card reader fail. Since I'd already talked with her about it, she was ok with getting paid in BTC when I recommended that. nostr:npub1kvaln6tm0re4d99q9e4ma788wpvnw0jzkz595cljtfgwhldd75xsj9tkzv app came in clutch; getting her onboarded and paid was so effortless, I think that alone is going to have her down the rabbit hole in no time. Good day.
Minibits only recently had a fiat currency option, which was a blocker for me.
Also no iOS version :(
Bitcoiners gave us Nostr. Now we need to normalise RSS.
Bitcoiners pronounce pesto as pešto.
There’s no-one from BTCPay in Cape Town, so I took the task of representing my favorite FOSS project!

Shout out to one of my favourite Web 1.0 sites, still keeping it real: http://dict.org/
Hrm, any chance for more details about this?
IIUC you mean do to L1 fees, it's wise to run your mobile LN node more often to get the latest L2 channel fees?
