GM Rex At first I saw a magnified photo type image of a fly's face. Then after a sip of coffee and looking up at the screen again , I saw a mothman type of creature and two other nightmarish entities.

The topic, Band-Aids containing forever chemicals, is cropping up on the all platforms that I've seen so far. Facebook is sending in the 'factchecker' bots to put a damper on it so I'm guessing it is actually being suppressed. It's easy to find in any search, including YouTube.

"Are you troubled with aphids?

"Grab a few handfuls of tomato leaves, around two cups, and toss them in a food processor or blender. Pulse them a few times and then put them in a quart jar. Fill the rest of the jar with water, put the lid on the jar and give it a good shake. After 24 hours, strain the chopped leaves and put the resulting liquid in a spray bottle.

Voila!

You’ve got a natural aphid insecticide. The naturally occurring alkaloids found in tomatoes are toxic to those tiny green bugs, but the spray is safe to use around people and pets.

You’ll want to mist infected plants well, especially the undersides of the leaves where the little pests like to hide."

"Did you know? Clovers are in the pea family (Fabaceae), and like nearly all the plants in this family, they can ‘fix’ nitrogen by forming a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with soil bacteria.

How does this happen?

The first thing to recognise is there is a huge amount of nitrogen in the atmosphere. The air you breathe is actually mostly nitrogen – 78 percent nitrogen to be more specific. Legumes form a symbiotic relationship with a type of bacteria in the Rhizobium genus. These bacteria form nodules on the roots. The bacteria in these nodules take nitrogen from the atmosphere and put it into a form that the legume can use to make protein and grow. This process is known as nitrogen fixation.

Fixing nitrogen into the soil naturally fertilises the plants around it, eliminating the need for chemical fertiliser, making our world a healthier place (and it doesn’t cost anything)" #gardening

"Ask permission:

Before cutting the branch of a tree or removing a flower, tell the spirit of the tree or plant what you are going to do, so that they can withdraw their energy from that place and not feel the cut so strong.

When you go to nature and want to take a stone that was in the river, ask the river keeper if he allows you to take one of his sacred stones.

If you have to climb a mountain or make a pilgrimage through the jungle, ask permission from the spirits and guardians of the place. It is very important that you communicate even if you do not feel, do not listen or do not see. Enter with respect to each place, since Nature listens to you, sees you and feels you.

Every movement you make in the microcosm generates a great impact on the macrocosm.

When you approach an animal, give thanks for the medicine it has for you.

Honor life in its many forms and be aware that each being is fulfilling its purpose, nothing was created to fill spaces, everything and everyone is here remembering our mission, remembering who we are and awakening from the sacred dream to return home."

"“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”- Terence Mckenna #terencemckenna

Dehydrate the tomato peels and turn them into powder.

"I used it in all my tomato base hot dishes or soups, etc. I also make taco seasoning out of mine with powdered jalepenos."

"I use it in place of tomato paste too! Using the same amount of powder as the paste so nothing in it I don’t want!!" #canning #food #homesteading #gardening #dehydrating #tomatoes

This is all you have to do to freeze your garden tomatoes so that you can use them all winter long.

1. Wash the tomatoes.

2. Remove the stems.

3. Freeze the tomatoes.

When you take them from the freezer:

4. Put them in the sink while still frozen.

5. Turn hot water on them and the peelings will come off easily.

6. Cut them up while still frozen and add to any recipe.

I don't know--if you do an experiment please share the results.
