I love my adorable and weird boyfriend. There are lots of reasons (starting with his smile wrinkles), but one of the best is that when I look through his phone on lazy mornings at cute pics of his dogs, I find ones like this he has randomly taken of me in my element. I’m usually the one that does this. No one ever documents my life like this. Finding a friend and lover so randomly (we met at a live music night at the farm) and they just love you like this is honestly pretty precious. Also, whenever I’m tasked with going through his files, I find so much randomly scribbled poetry. 🥹 It’s not romantic, it’s insightful and twisted and his handwriting flows beautifully. One of the lines goes I honor my reflection and I too my hat, I see myself through the broken glass”
Do you all remember how wild it was when we could newly get access to the most insane art and music at the touch of a fingertip or for like $14 a month?? It used to blow my mind that we could just save any jpg so easily online. And then we got used to this kind of access all the time.
