No havenāt heard of either one of those, so I guess my stance is somewhat the same. But Iāll need to look into them.
But again⦠the whole point of Bitcoin is that no one controls it, so stuff like this will happen. Whether it be if itās bitcoin or not, we are yet to find out.
My goal is to have Bitcoin on the balance sheet. Still working on the business part. Even if the price doesnāt rise substantially in future, hard money is essential.
First time I read this note I thought I saw āinsideā instead of outside⦠so I came to see what I thought would be carnage in the comment section.

Ah yes⦠I should have added āsourdoughā to the high hydration part.
Just higher than normal water content, I think it helps give the nice air bubbles in the middle.
Delicious home made high hydration loaf this morning.

I donāt have great knowledge on Jack Dorsey or what exactly happenedā¦
But practically monitoring people on here is probably easy since itās so open. However meddling with time lines I wouldnāt think is easy at all.
Ultimately, I still feel like itās better than centralised controlled platforms, where time line modifications and monitoring are both much more likely.
I read it once a while ago⦠but I think itās high time for a second read ! Gotta keep our heads about us.

Just for a moment, I was irritated that the app I wasnt working and I couldnāt send something to the composer, but then realty set back in and I realised this is the norm, most apps canāt do that.
I havenāt been using #nostr for all that long, but it has already fundamentally changed the way I think about ... a lot of things.

I think the Bitcoin mindset just gets a large portion of people here⦠they have the same thought process.
But the more people join, the more diverse it becomes.
Maybe I am missing something here, but I donāt seen the point in #ordinals on the #bitcoin chain.
1st, Itās trying to give more value to sats than what they are actually worth⦠which is odd to me. Are people just trying to make a quick buck here?
2nd, Itās taking up space that could rather be used by legitimate transactions. (maybe there is a general benifit for increasing network usage, but I get the feeling itās not a great balance).
3rd, I think it makes Bitcoin look like other crappy web3 chains with magic NFTs that are suddenly worth massive amounts of money. Thatās not what Bitcoin is. Bitcoin is more than that.
Bitcoin is not designed nor intended for ordinals, and I donāt think that it should be.
Thatās my 2 cents.
Please feel free to comment if you disagree. I always look for different views. Perhaps there are additional benefits that I donāt yet see.
I like to think of it in terms of a foundation. So long as we all work on a solid and incorruptible foundation, then there is always a common truth we can trace back to.
There is a place for centralised things in the world, and thatās fine, but the foundation cannot be like that.
Thats kind of the root of why Bitcoin excites me so much.
