The legal standard for granting the government permission to remove the right to keep and bear arms across the board is for weapons that are dangerous AND unusual.
Few own nun-chucks, hence it’s not actually illegal to ban them.
Weapons commonly possessed for lawful purposes may NOT be banned.
But of course everyone pretends they don’t know this standard when passing laws and hence there are always lots of court cases taking their sweet old time to come to the forgone conclusions.
Nunchucks are illegal in Arizona too…and this is in a state where I lawfully can go to the store, buy as many guns as I’d like, hide one in my pants and proudly wear the other on my hip and go to a bar…
That’s hilarious. They think meat is unhealthy. Diabetes & obesity are clearly linked to American meat over consumption :)
So few have yet to grasp what bitcoin really is.
No, unfortunately. I’ll be doing travel medicine that week. The week after.
But but but, WON’T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!
That or something about drugs, terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking, firearms, etc.
There are now more millionaires in the US alone than there will ever be bitcoins in existence.
I never cook myself. I’ve decided against autophagy. But I do cook beef.
Do ravens communicate over the carrier pigeon network? Or is it a separate network?
Rock on. Don’t forget your PIN codes!
These devices literally have a “shoot me” annotation on the printed circuit board to facilitate firearm destruction of private keys if you forget your PIN code.
Lost pin = brick that needs to be shot.
So my blocks would be rejected? I’m curious if there is a way of forcing nodes to download limitless data with a block that is similar to a segwit block but has unbounded witness data size.
Can I spam the network with bad-Brian’s-big-blocks with my new ordinal friendly format? Are there fees attached?
Some in some ways, others in other ways, all in some way.
That said, I often wonder how different animal minds are from human ones.
It seems every human and every non-human animal share common behaviors: provisioning food, shelter, play, companionship, and something at least tangentially related to species propagation through time.
Can we really be all that different in our minds?
The network split before luke dashjr recognized the unintended hard fork.
Damus will be better. Less dopamine algorithmic manipulation.
Anyone here know the nitty gritty details of the segwit discount?
As I understand it, an old node sees a segwit transaction as an always true transaction…and that the witness data doesn’t affect transaction validation for old nodes. Do the old nodes still download this data?
I know there is a limit on the size of segwit blocks (hence the discount on the witness data), but is there any limit to the size of other always true transactions with segregated witness data not conforming to the segwit format?
In other words, is the arbitrary size loophole close?
Few people know that in the first year of bitcoin, two blocks got their block rewards deleted, accidentally, because the transaction hash creating the block reward was a duplicate…an early form of “address” reuse being unwise, sorta…
