I go both ways on this one. A lot depends on context.

It is a beautiful city. If you come next year, I recommend staying in Prague 1, come the weekend before the conference and stay the week. The venue is right along the subway and the local transport phone app makes getting just about anywhere in the _country_ an easy step by step set of instructions with interactive geolocating map.
