Have you ever listened to yourself at 3.5x? You sound really good. Stephanie, the OG bitcoiner, sounds pretty good tooā¦but Iāve lost track of her in the bitcoin sphere
Skiing is controlled skydiving at this difficulty level.
Save your money for dentist thoughā¦after fluoride was added to water, many dental schools had to close because we had way way too many dentists.
Catch-22
Reminder: if it isnāt right to do on an individual basis, itās wrong to vote for others to do it.
Also, a weaponized government is a hard enemy to fight. And such governments will go after dissenters from any political party.
The FBI going after the NYC mayor isnāt a show of balance or propriety or justiceā¦itās a continuation of the weaponization of government against those that donāt fall in line. He made the blasphemous mistake of speaking ill of immigrants.
Equating sars-cov-2 infection with Covid is like equating HIV infection with AIDS. A common cold caused by sars-cov-2 isnāt covid and thereās no such thing as a covid infection, just like thereās no such thing as an HIV infection. Syndrome != cause.
Trucks are an American thing. Real trucks at least. Americans want to throw a few thousand pounds of concrete mix in the back and tow a bulldozer for a quick home improvement over the weekend.
I tried some non-tesla charger once at a hotel. It charged at 5 kw. Which would have been fine for overnight charging at the 25Ā¢ per kWhr electricity price, but there was a separate $5 charge for every 3 hoursā¦that was rather silly.
Cybertruck core dump:
Having had a cybertruck beast for a few months, I can say itās rather mid. The zero to 60 is amazing, and thatās its main feature and I love it.
But everything elseā¦meh.
The bed is small. Yes it can handle a moderately heavy load in the bed (2000-2500 lbs depending on model) and will fit 8x4 building materialsā¦but only with the tailgate down.
It can tow a reasonable amount (11,000 lbs for all models). But only for 80 miles.
Rated range is 300 miles, but in practice, itās more like 250 at most if you start at 100% charge. But as normal charge level is 80%, youāre looking at 200 milesā¦but you might want 20 miles to spare to look for a charger. 180 miles isnāt awful for an unplanned trip, but itās a far cry from the 500 they initially teased.
The steering wheel has no controls on the stem, itās all thumb buttons. Other than a few thumb buttons on the wheel, everything else is controlled by tiny software buttons on a computer screen. And the tiny buttons require you to be very accurate when touching them. Iāve had times where it took me 6 attempts to hit the desired button.
The cameras do a very poor job of showing you the surroundings you need to be aware of to back up. You canāt see up/down the road you back in to. One must turn head/body around and look out back passenger windows, and even this really only works if youāre not parked next to another car which will block view. So the camera will let you pull out and cut somebody off, but youād see someone if you were to back into themā¦nowhere near as nice as my wifeās Honda minivan.
There is no self driving. Supposedly itās coming this year or next year or three. Maybe. There are no proximity sensors. They just issued a software park assist feature, but it only sort of works. Does NOT help me pull in to garage _at all_
Is it worth the $135,124 it took to get it out the door? Well, no, because at the time this was 2 bitcoins. So I kept the two bitcoins and took a loan out for the truck. This will make the vehicle cost roughly $160,000 over the next 5 or 6 years (ballpark). In 5 or 6 years we shall see if those two bitcoin are worth more than the price of the truck.
In 2017, I sold bitcoin at $7,000 to buy a $44,000 minivan. Had I taken out a loan back then instead of selling bitcoin, I could have had 2 or 3 free cybertrucks.
This is retail leverage. Use carefully.

In the future. My best guess: 50x over 15 years with a lot of volatility overlaid above and below that rate of return.
Might be a while.
Young private practice primary care docs
I vote for mean tweets, a good economy, and fair treatment of Bitcoin.
None. But Iām a radiologist.
Is there a copy paste button for shirts? Is it one color print (Iām color blind)? There may be a way to photograph it and hire a printer.
But, it did move bitcoin safely in to the future for meā¦better than the time I sent all my bitcoin to one address and wrote down the private key by hand on an envelope. This was before the whole āseed phraseā thing was invented.
I did something like this way way back in the day. I bought these things called bitbillsā¦think casascius coins but in laminated bill form. In bitcoin terms it cost me a small fortune as price was very low and shipping wasnāt cheap. Probably cost me 5 bitcoin.
I have some bitcoin via etf in a Roth and some in a standard 401k too. Fortunately, Roth came first via GBTC :)
Self custody is very important, imho, but a diversity of strategies to avoid having your coins taken from you is only wise. Tax mitigation is part of such a diverse strategy.
