I haven’t updated my visual book in over a year.

Would you be interested in a bitcoin visual encyclopedia?

If so, what sections would you like to see?

Highlighter newb here, trying to get a creator profile setup it fails to publish the event. I figure it thing to do with the relay. Do I need to run my own for this to work?

The past year on the road, merchant adoption has been a priority for us. Why? They are the key to network effects for acceptance/payments.

We’ve been talking about a maturity model and finally put it on paper last night. Here is v1 based on our interactions with merchants and our bitcoin preferred juice shop in Uganda.

Would appreciate your feedback/comments on this.

We see the maturity of a merchant in three levels based on how money is used.

Level 1: SoV OR MoE (merchant onboards with either user case based on their need/pain)

Level 2: SoV & MoE

Level 3: SoV & MoE & UoA

There is maturity within each use case (ie SoV: storing in exchange vs cold storage). We’re weak on the UoA use case so if you have experience with merchants pricing in sats, would love your thoughts!

We’re hoping to continue flushing this out to create more collateral to help further merchant adoption.

It’s been one hell of a journey, will do a better job to share our progress. On the go for another 2 weeks and will have some breathing room to catch up.

šŸ™ @jabulani for making it happen

We met a lovely lady to runs a day care, a designer who makes clothing with a swag, a fast food vendor and a math tutor!

Looking forward to seeing the positive impact they continue to make in their community.

On a the lookout for a part time CTO to help launch a few open source products. Reach out if interested.

Your incentive? Progressing bitcoin adoption!

We’ve been on the road for a year now and have encountered a few problems (traveling, earning sats, on-boarding users, etc). We’d like to build a proof of concept and need a technical expert to join this journey.

Successful meetup in Gabarone chatting about their circular economy OlaBitcoin.

So much happening with Nostr protocol. What’s the best post/article/pod to catch up the recent developments? Feeling behind šŸ˜“

I feel so energized when I talk to people like nostr:npub1f7ptem2ztp9x4n7w62n90ddv40z0jrt4490d8lug3uasfwyjsccqkknerm, we just had an amazing 30min conversation about Bitcoin merchant adoption in Africa & how straightforward it really is. He seems to be far advanced in his knowledge of how to execute these concepts. nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw is his go to onboarding tool. Give him a follow!

Appreciate the kind words good sir! Can’t wait to improve adoption in circular economies like nostr:npub1xxcyzef28e5qcjncwmn6z2nmwaezs2apxc2v2f7unnvxw3r5edfsactfly
