Hey NOSTR, im crowd sourcing a sifi story. Your the crowd.
We're at some point in the future. Quantum computing is real. Bitcoin had to be upgraded to be quantum resistant. The quantum upgrade caused some form of quantum entanglement across the time chain, entangling past present and future blocks together.
Imagine the time chain as one long rope laid out from the past, through today into the future. Normally, you'd only be able to see your current point clearly, and look backwards at what you've fixed behind you.
But the quantum upgrade makes the rope special, such that when you tug or move a point far down the rope in the future. Observers holding the rope behind them in the past, feel a slight pull instantly. They can't see perfectly what's happening far ahead. But they can guess based on the ropes vibrations what movements will likely happen?
Similarly, when someone behind tugs the rope, future observers feel that too The rope(time chain) thus becomes one connected structure that communicates in fuzzy signals through time.
Basically an information time machine.
In this world, anybody who is capable of interpreting that data .can essentially predict the future with extreme degrees of accuracy.
Now the value of controlling enough bitcoin to be able to afford an on-chained transaction in the future, give you the ability to send messages into the past and instantaneously changing your present granted you have established an effective method of communication with someone who's able of interpreting the data.
And controlling enough hash power to win a block and write a block to the chain. Essentially means you're writing actuality into existence.
