Enjoying Romanian food with my girlfriend 🥓

Tomorrow I’ll livestream S15 E51 of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast 🤩

The guest is Eric Carson and we’ll talk about digital identity on Bitcoin and why it’s a better idea than the current KYC/AML practices.

Make sure you subscribe & tune in!

Have you been listening to Bitcoin Takeover lately?

Season 15 is killing it and is the most aspirational one so far. There are more talks about what Bitcoin can be than what it currently is. There’s little to no hopium.

Give it a chance whenever you can!

In 2 hours I will interview Chaincode Labs engineer & Bitcoin Stack Exchange champion Murch!

Make sure you tune in to the livestream!

We’ll talk about whether or not ordinal inscriptions are spam, ossification vs popular soft fork proposals, tail emission, and many more topics that are generally misunderstood by bitcoiners.

Tomorrow I will livestream S15 E50 of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast, featuring Murch: Bitcoin StackExchange champion, co-host of BitDevs & engineer at Chaincode Labs.

We will be discussing common misconceptions about Bitcoin.

If this post gets enough zaps, I will also broadcast the interview on nostr:npub1eaz6dwsnvwkha5sn5puwwyxjgy26uusundrm684lg3vw4ma5c2jsqarcgz

There are only 2 kinds of people in Bitcoin: those who are listening to the Bitcoin Takeover podcast and those who should be listening to the Bitcoin Takeover podcast.

Everything in between is mostly noise. https://video.nostr.build/1084a7523070aa5f62d26f9e52616f6d7b00c06f4b913759e743596864460960.mp4

Privacy. You can read up here. https://fedimint.org/

It's worth the effort to study.

If you would rather watch a 7 minute video (lacks details IMO and may make things more confusing if you don't have the basics) here it is.

Sir, that’s a custodian. Banking with extra steps.

Stop what you’re doing and listen to nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9's speech from the Bitcoin 2024 conference.

He makes some very good points about Bitcoin’s lack of privacy, how exchanges have data about their users & share them with governments & why AI will make linking transactions much easier.

He also explains why metadata is enough to construct an entire story about your daily habits – they don’t have to know the specifics of what you buy and why, they already see with whom you are transacting and building a profile.

I can’t believe people don’t talk about this more!!!

The world needs sound money.

Sound money is fungible.

Fungibility requires privacy.

Privacy makes the world a better place.

Bitcoin won’t reach $100k until we adopt the bits standard as the only denomination.

1 bitcoin = 1 million bits

Until $1 million per bitcoin, everyone can buy a bit below $1.

It’s so simple, beautiful & clear – unlike the sats clusterfuck that makes everyone ask questions.

Buy my book, pay $500 to join my steak dinner ($500 extra if you want to sit closer to me), buy my stonk because there is no second best, buy your BTC from this extremely compliant exchange because at least it has no shitcoins, listen to my podcast:

Bitcoin maximalism used to mean “this network is the most robust, so every successful experiment that has market demand will be built on top of it”.

It somehow degenerated into “anything but this one network is a scam, so we’ll ignore markets by calling participants scammers & frown upon different tech by calling it scammy for even being developed”

Will Bitcoin’s layer 1 get replaced with something else that secures the network in perpetuity, as the coins only get transferred on an L2?

In S15 E58 of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast, Paul Puey makes this bold prediction!

He also talks about privacy & how light wallets work!
