In March I and my first #soap ever. I love making the products better and better. Now I am experimenting with Honey which supposedly helps with lathering and creating more foam ☺

100 % #tallow bar can feel “low‑lather”

Pure tallow (rendered beef fat) is an excellent hard‑fat base for #soap, but its chemistry isn’t naturally geared toward producing a big, fluffy foam.

This is why I have a 70-30 ratio. This keeps the bar predominantly tallow (so you retain the hard, long‑lasting feel) while injecting enough Lauric acid for a noticeable foam increase.
