I love Obsidian.

I need to read this article.

When I click on it from Primal or cut and paste the link separately into Chrome or Safari, the story does not load. Navigating to the highlighter.com home page, I'm using the search function and typing in "Obsidian" but it not appearing in the list of results.

I will keep looking for it.

I go back and forth with this.

Even if I did make a private one and tried to stay private, the same friends and family would know that it's me (so they knew I was alive).

Whoever would be looking for me, wouldn't have to look at me. They would look at my social circle, writing voice, style, phrases, etc.

They're gonna start selling #certs so the public can trust the #authenticity of your videos and podcasts.

I have a feeling some regulatory body has already thought of this.

I used the word "deflation." Loudly. In the grocery store.

I've now lived here a year.

I finished making a batch of homemade laundry soap. I haven't done that in years.

In some respects, part of me has accepted that I chose to live indoors. That I do live indoors.

I feel slightly peaceful, slightly sad, and have a tension headache.

My dog's energy only slightly subsided.

He was a stray here for some time, has social network, and his favorite ladies he likes to visit with.

I did it to prevent child support and reduce the amount of outdoor trips. I do not have a yard.

His personality didn't really change. Instead of being all over the place, he guards and socializing more intentionally. We still walk the same amount, weather permitting, almost as much as he used to while roaming when he was on the streets.

This helped us both adjusting to living indoors again. A few months before, I has just moved into the apartment from having lived and traveling in the van full-time.

The only time he turns into a puddle of "woosey-goo" is for the elderly lady a few doors down. She was formerly his pup-er-oni supplier while he was on the streets.

Maverick has been now been sober for 10 months.

I laughed. I shouldn't have laughed. I'm sorry.

Russian accent.

Somehow it got passed along to my daughter who speaks it to her babies when she "means it."

All emotion disappears. The Russian accent appears. The kids listen.

I don't pick fights, but I struggle with self-censorship. It didn't used to be that way. I even censor myself in my handwritten #journals, which is wrong. I want to write about whatever I want and have it be OK. I don't want to shape it into something semiformal, polish it, check for typos or analyze it from a potential client's, employer's, or lawyer's perspective before I hit "Post."

Got some proofreading done today and a lot of chores. I stopped worrying about the time constraints and just did them. It's evening now, but many things are done. Gonna try and get some things done early in the morning to beat the heat.

I'm a technical writer by trade. 😭

A LOT of #documentation needs a lot of help.

I'd like to get the point where I can freely send surprise pull requests that fixes it, like someone would just wake up and find it all spiffed up and ready to merge.

I felt your post deeply. Bad documentation is bad for the world.

I don't mind hearing opposing viewpoints, but when people start with or devolve into rage-baiting each other, I can't take any of it seriously anymore.

I'm fatigued by it. Sorting through it on X to find better stuff to respond to is also fatiguing because of the current state of their algorithm.

Besides my current mute list on X, I'm now considering muting all things political and related to all types of rage bait, even at the expense of not getting the news. That's how bad it's gotten on social media.

People need to relearn how to have discussions and civilly argue again.

Many young people need to see what that looks like, modeled in real-time, to see how it works.

I can't write in my #Arabic #Quran, but I also cannot recognize on site yet where in what ayat on what line I left off the day before.

Are there any best-practice recommendations for solving this?

I thought about using those peel-and-stick-sign-here-tabby things to mark it.

About 25 years ago, I learned that someone stole my social security number to get a job. It came up on an employment background check.

It turned out the #IRS was very happy to receive #taxes being paid by two different people using the same SSN number.

They never said a word.

With the massive data breach that we knew was probably true, is the IRS now looking forward to collecting taxes from multiple people using the same social security number?
