It’s so easy to put yourself on auto-pilot and cruise through life, not contemplating that there is something more to life than living in a broken body and a world made of nothing but sin, guilt, fear and death. The ego cleverly designs distractions for you so that you listen but to one voice (ego’s) and maintain your belief in it.

we are seemingly born into bodies over and over and over again because we fail to let go of our belief in the ego and its thought system. we’ve lived thousands of lifetimes, but some of us are starting to wake up… 
We all play the vicious game of projecting murderous insanity and perceiving it in others, and there is no end to this madness unless one party goes to its right mind and asks for help of its Teacher to break the cycle.
As the decision maker, in any given situation, you choose between abundance or lack. You extend or project what you have made real. Choose abundance, and you extend love and forgiveness. Choose lack, and you project sin and guilt.
Since forgiveness is the means of bringing us home, the ego strives mightily to hold on to the grievances that root our attention in the mindless world of bodies.

God is only God: Perfect Love, Oneness, and Wholeness, and is nothing but that Love, Oneness, and Wholeness. Everything outside His mind is illusory and unknowable to Him.
Nothing that is true need be explained.
an appropriate way to describe what the ego appears to do in our illusory world is project its inherent nothingness in an ongoing activity of nothingness.
Withdraw your belief in the ego and in the things of this world.

What we identify with, we extend. When our minds identify with love, love will extend through us. When we identify with guilt, this too will extend or project.
The ego’s strategy: To have us maintain constant vigilance for external problems, while the true problem of the mind’s decision for guilt goes unnoticed and uncorrected.
