Each time we are tempted to justify our upset or anger, we need to ask our inner voice or Helper for help in recognizing the opportunity to free ourselves from the darkness of our own guilt, replacing it with the light of love. However, if we persist in being right about what troubles us—something external to our decision-making minds—we merely reinforce the fear of this love that threatens our individual self, as well as fearing the world’s darkness that the ego tells us could hurt us.

Guiltlessness is invulnerability.

If we perceive people attacking us, it is only because we attacked them first. Put another way, our belief that others are ignoring or berating us—being insensitive, rejecting, or unkind—comes only because we secretly believe that we have done the same to them; otherwise we could not perceive them that way.

You can choose now to be free instead of imprisonment by chains of guilt that you shackled to yourself.

You can take a giant step towards ending your cycle of birth and death: change your mind and decision for a different teacher. Ask for help to perceive truly, remove all conflict from your life, and return to love.

Afraid to look at what’s in our minds, we perceive only what the ego wants us to: the projection of the secret sins we do not want to see in ourselves. We do not hear another’s call for love, for we do not want to hear our own.

If we judgmentally experience sin and evil in others, we have withheld love and put them there in its place.

“Where there is no love, put love and you will find love.” - St. John of the Cross, 16th century Carmelite mystic and poet

it seems to me their greatest strength is when they join as one…nothing is impossible for them

the painting is beautiful indeed.

reminds me that what is all encompassing can have no opposite.
