In the digital age, it’s popular to think of everything as a computer, as a simulation, as the matrix, and so on.

This is more a product of the current zeitgeist than the actual truth.

The truth is far more interesting.

Care to elaborate?

Viewing reality as a computer simulation is a narrow way of viewing reality. It is but one framing among many. And it’s indicative of what we are focused on in the year 2025.

Everything’s computer

The power to imagine the life we aspire to is precious. Notions of being stuck in a matrix diminishes this power and our perceived agency toward creating it. We live as much beauty and peace as we dare to imagine

We've created simulations within our simulation...

the implicit dystopia and paranoia in the simulation bullshit is obvious

no, God would not punish us like this, God the Creator?

i can give them a hint, which was given to me, that they can literally, out loud, in private, ask for a hint

it's recorded in the New Testament, Phillipians 4:6-7

this is not a new question, but the people have had their minds erased

simulation?

yes, it' a game

and God loves you

and you only need to ask him for help when you get stuck

this world is a result of a decision we made to hide from the guilt we felt as a result of thinking we could be separate from our Source.
