Think of BTC as:
Long-term monetary insurance with upside
You donât insure your house hoping it burns down â
you insure it because the cost of not doing so is unacceptable.
BTC is the same for fiat debasement.

I used to think saving cash in the bank was being responsible.
Then I realized every year my âsavingsâ could buy me less.
That was the moment it clicked â the system isnât broken, itâs working as designed.
Bitcoin changed how I see value, time, and freedom. Itâs not about getting rich â itâs about escaping quiet theft.
What was the moment you started questioning fiat?

I think thatâs good to teach about money for sure. Do something. Get paid. Establishes the work ethic. To understand BTC though thatâs a little further down the line. Although some kids are smart and are interested in that stuff younger so you could always test the water by bringing it up and seeing how they respond. But when it comes to having bills and a car payment and trying to save, but the interest rate doesnât keep up with inflation/deflation of the usd thatâs when you can explain btc for sure.
Fiat is a melting ice cube.
You work for it, save it, and it quietly rots in your hands.
Bitcoin flips that script â the harder you hold, the stronger it becomes.
Thatâs the power of truth-based money.
Two weeks ago my eyes were opened when my friend told me to look up Michael Saylor. Then I found Jeff Booth. This is when I came to understand what bitcoin was and have now started DCA daily to build my stack. We are many. We are early. We are infinite.
When was the moment YOU realized the fiat system was broken?

I would say when they first get a job. First paycheck. Explain how savings works. Interest. The dollar in general and how itâs set up to depreciate. They should be old enough by then to understand what youâre saying. As well as old enough to not listen to you because they think youâre a dumb adult đ.
