HOW bees are BORN. An egg fertilized by the queen and deposited in a hive is fed by nursing bees with royal jelly for the first three days and afterwards by a honey and pollen-based porridge, after 21 days a worker bee will be born. The egg at three days turns into a larva, from the 3rd to the 9th it is larva and from the 9th the bees operate them until their birth which will be on the 21st day from the laying of the queen. The larva manufactures an internal protective cocoon inside the alveol or operated cell and from then begins the metamorphosis going through the phases of nymph and chrysalis until the opening of the operated alveol and being born as an adult bee and in its nursing stage. How Queens are born ? If an egg fertilized by the queen is fed more than three days with royal jelly and continue to feed it with more royal jelly, the bees build a special alvéolo much larger and elongated acorn-shaped called queen or master from where a new one will be born queen in the hive. The egg (called chicken among beekeepers) at three days turns into a larva, from the 3rd to 7 and 1/2 is larva and bees operate it until its birth which will be on the 16th day from the laying of the queen. On the 16th the queen roe the master or queen coming out as a virgin queen, it will take time to leave the hive to fertilize between five and fifteen days being able to reach up to 25 if the weather conditions are not favorable...

Good morning nostr friends, its time for coffee and i'm ready to start the day. Today should be a not-too-hectic day, mainly keeping plants and trees alive in this heat, so i'll be doing some watering. I have observed that there are some plants/trees that just dont do well in our heat/drought, so i wont be babying those anymore. I will stick to the things that are not so needy. As far as large shade trees, the beautiful white oak, aka monterrey oak, has proven to be durable, fast growing (for a tree), and not whiny. To my great sadness, i am giving up on pecan trees. I love, love pecans, and at my previous home i had beautiful, mature pecan trees that did very well. But here, i cannot grow a healthy pecan tree, a sad situation.

I keep pushing back on two types of NPCs:

1) The right-leaning type of NPC that thinks all the inflation occurred because of the Biden Administration. Price inflation comes with a lag from money-printing, which began under Trump and continued under Biden, but materialized under Biden. That's why I was writing about upcoming inflation in 2020 and continued doing so in 2021 and thereafter.

2) The left-leaning type of NPC that thinks "price gouging corporations" are causing the inflation and that price controls are an answer. A casual reading of history would refute this, any easy check on public SEC filings would demonstrate this, etc. So it's like, "no, the grocery store with 1.4% net profit margins is not the cause of your food price woes, madam."

It's not so much that I get annoyed by people not knowing things. There's a million things I don't know. What I do find mildly frustrating is when people are so confidentially sure of a position that they have almost zero knowledge in.

Getting into medium of exchange arguments with fiat brains is a futile exercise.

The world doesn’t really need yet another medium of exchange.

But most people *desperately* need an appreciating store of value to combat ubiquitous government fiat currencies, which exist primarily to steal humanity’s purchasing power over time.

For about seven months after publishing Broken Money, I was so burned out from writing. I had written that book within a year, while also writing public articles and private client reports as usual. So I was basically just absolutely dead in terms of writing, had pushed myself a bit too far, and was kind of phoning it in for articles and reports the next few months with gradual recovery.

But within the past couple months, my writing energy has fully returned. So many articles in the pipeline, in various states of development!

@start9 #runningbitcoin I'm loving Start9. Why did I wait so long! It took me 3 days - from soup to nuts - to get StartOS installed, Bitcoin Core installed and synced, Electrum installed and optimized, and Mempool up and running. On an old iMac.

Pure awesomness! And that's only the beginning! I still have a whole lot of resources available. Memory is only at 20% utilization.
