Sad to say it ... but most of the people out there don't care.
Customer/users want a familiar experience, business owners want something "close" to the competition... and the dev team wants a quicker idea to feature sprint than they quoted.
Ultimately ... everyone "just wants it to work". And we #UXdesigners are trying to innovate & do cool stuff... which ultimately takes longer to do, to explain/justify, harder to defend when the critics come along with the 'ya-buts'.
... consistency with the market ( +1 ) extra cool feature is the sweet spot.
Getting closer to this wacky idea I have of "step-up" authentication within a nostr app. ... one of those "Just in case your nSec gets compromised... we'll also use biometrics as a final boss to that super sensitive data".
My thoughts have been... only ask for an nSec if you're posting... otherwise it's just an nPub login ... and "step-up" for in app functionality.
But why ? Using Cursor v0 and screen shots from https://mobbin.com … you can skip Figma. It’s wild … we’re at the end of that whole pixel design Figma world.
And this is coming from a 15+ years deep career as a #ux consultant.
Loving this 4 cycle concept … whatever comes next, let’s keep it open.
have you ever watched the 10th dimension video? we would have to pop into a dimension above this one to transport to new locations within it.
Been noodling on this one for a couple of weeks ... the while AI is a powerful tool in #UXdesign ... it requires an alert & attentive guide to keep it consistent. idea hallucinations, and odd UX pattern are still real issues.
