The other ‘intro yourself’ tags don’t usually surface the topics I’d be interested in. Granted, I could do a better job tagging on my own posts.

Interestingly, #BlueSky is explicitly avoiding building hashtags and relying on natural language search at the moment. If you think about what IG posts turned into (a hashtag hellscape), including them does propose a particular user behavior.

Only took ~1 week to the the response I expected!! Hahaha…

Personally I’d reverse that order to start with hashtags; which would be a great source to identify relevant users to follow.

The pandemic caused all #music venues to get creative with live streaming. It was very fun in that season to tune in to famous #jazz clubs from all over the world. But we all know… NOTHING beats a great live in-person performance! So great to have this back

How would you imagine an open protocol integrate with a for-profit company? I suppose any Nostr client could inject ads (or paid verification)

There’s #ActivityPub instances like PeerTube doing distributed hosting, so I suppose a media dedicated relay could do this. Then clients would need some type of p2p FFmpeg-like encoding integration for processing fast (enough) playback. 🤷‍♂️
