I wrote a book.

It takes you from zero TS experience to wizard-level.

And it's free.

So, central to the entire viability of Scrum is the notion that the SM coaches *outward* to the rest of the organization. That way, an Agile (we hope) team can infuse what it does to the whole organization and effect org-level changes. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN! The SM is *never*, in my experience, empowered to do anything except coach the team, and sometimes, not even that. Any attempts to change the org are effectively treated as whining. Not surprising, of course. Orgs that adopt Scrum company wide are both not Agile and also belive that they're done. "We spent millions moving to Scrum and you're now telling me that it's not enough? Maybe you don't undesrstand what Scrum is!"

Here's @neil_killick's response from over on LinkedIn. Couldn't have said it better myself. When the whole org is marching in lockstep to Scrum, there's no Agile there.

Amusing: the way to have GenAI coding tools like Cursor work well is to structure your project in ways that would make it easy for (human) engineers to onboard to a complex project easier.

Modularized structure, small files, lots of comments.

Bet SOLID principles won’t hurt!

Just realized the pronunciation of numbers is conditional in English.

For example how do you pronounce 1758

——

Now, what if I were to add the

words ‘the year’ in front of it.

Then how would you pronounce it?

So, the superPrompt is really 1% of my research i did it as I moved forward with my research and kept changing and making better everyday as I researched. I put 5% efforts in the prompts I released, my actual research has nothing to do with the SP and, now that I saw people’s reaction to the prompt, I wonder how they will feel about my actual research, bcs, its orders of magnitude more important and game changing.

Im just venting, i wasn’t sure how important my research was, but now im feeling really like, maybe paranoid.

Ofc, i dont release all of it bcs i want to make money

War and Peace, translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky.

Tried reading this with a different translator but found it stodgy and dry. P&V bring it to life.

Unforgettable. Double-digit crying sessions.

In TypeScript 5.6, your IDE will feel a LOT faster in big files.

TS will be able to prioritize _only the visible code_. On a 52k line file, the response time went from 3 seconds to 140ms.

This'll make a huge difference to projects with lots of generated TS code.
