We are busy investing, worrying, finding opportunities, doing something and everything. Taking on risk to outpace inflation and then getting crushed by both of them because the rules change or a war starts.

That idea you put forth is so important:
Due to the continuous debasement of out money we are on the hamster wheel (invest, work harder, take on risk etc) thus are unable to focus on life itself.

Well there are a few options.
1. You use an exchange cheapest option and has KYC requirements.
2. You can also use a decentralized exchange. That is more peer to peer. Higher fees.
3. Buy BTC with cash at an ATM.
I think self storage is more important to holding BTC securely rather than the way you buy it.

It is the fiat system that gives them the opportunity to be reckless. In school we are taught that Land, Labour, Capital and Entrepreneurship are the factors of production.
Capital defined as currency when it is actually energy, time and effort stored in a medium of exchange of value. We just assumed that fiat currency is good. It has proven to be corrupt and as such promotes recklessness.
So pure capital, sound money is what would solve so much. #Bitcoin is sound money, pure, incorruptible.
