I use it on 24.04 and there is some minor setup you need to do. there is a guide on the ledger website. It is very easy.

This video can only be viewed as propaganda. Nobody is going to use a payment card as they demonstrate. If it ever got to the stage of being a payment card, there would be some sort of KYC and linkage to the local currency. That means a slower process to get your money into the system, all participating governments would be able to access your transactions and you could be cut off from the system. Certainly not decentralized.
This system has legs as a settlement layer for businesses or governments instead of swift/USD, but not for consumers. #bitcoin would be the better approach. However, governments want control so they won’t switch unless they are forced to. Time will tell…

Trying to sell some extra tickets bought on Ticketmaster for a US concert when I live in Canada. All I have to do is setup a US account with my CA bank, setup a Wise account, fund the Wise account, sell my tickets, transfer my funds to my US account within my CA bank, transfer my US funds to my CA account within my bank, close my Wise account then close my US account within my bank.

Running #linux apps on #android could be a reality. I’ve been doing this for years on #chromeos and it works great.
I’d love to see a reasonably priced #ubuntu based laptop that is similar to a Chromebook. Until this happens, running my favourite Linux apps on other operating systems will have to do.

I don’t understand the fascination with shitconing. The FTX token is up over the 100% in the last year, but it is a dead token previously used by a bankrupt company. No use and highly unlikely to be used if the FTX company was ever reborn. People, the token didn’t work before so why think it will work in the future.
