Blue wallet is definitely better than leaving your BTC on an exchange, but blue wallet on your phone would be considered a “hot wallet”, since your phone is connected to the net. If you want true cold storage you need a hardware signing device like a cold card or bitbox02 and then use a desktop wallet like Sparrow. Bonus points for running a node!

The one asset I want to see drained of value over the coming decade is residential real estate. This is one of my biggest hopes for bitcoin - that it can partially displace houses being a store of value for people.

I firmly believe that a house should be a home, and that every family should have the right to own their own home if they choose to do so. Far too many people are stuck in the rent trap, paying monthly rent on a property to a landlord who’s using it to pay the mortgage off.

This only works because houses have become a lucrative store of value. My hope is that Bitcoin can take this role, and that houses become homes for families again, and aren’t seen anymore as “an asset” - at least in the way they are now… I know it’s utopian, but renting is crippling our society and driving more wealth divides.
