I’m not surprised. Can’t have people that are too real waking folks up all Willy nilly

Hello world. Haven’t seen you this clearly in while. Let’s make it a common thing; run with it for a couple miles.

I’ll probably order the miner hat and that’ll be my btc clothing allowance for the month.

Just giving my feedback on that badger hat.

Thank you tho; I’ll be ordering the miner hat here shortly.

You do solid work my guy. Thanks for that.

Used to. Like that with all OTC things…but now I find myself and ibuprofen getting along

And no coffee after like 4.

I’m not even that old and getting old sucks.

Alright; Doctors and those who’ve been there, I ran my knee into the thin edge of an I beam at work… it went along the top portion of my shin and in between my knee cap and the bone behind it. This was maybe two weeks ago tomorrow.

It still hurts. I have more or less full range of motion but when squatting, the closer my thigh gets to my calf the more I can feel the point of impact.

In addition, since I’ve been favoring it, my same side middle back muscle has begun to seize if I twist the opposite direction.

Please help

Can’t remember the last time I’ve felt this; childhood id imagine

It’s been about a month now since I deleted Twitter off my phone; I miss the follower count but that was often future based dopamine.

By that I mean I always said “ oh that’s a great resource for when I distribute my music or when I start my side gig, etc, etc”. Thing was I never really got much engagement and never started my hustle.

Big shifts from top to bottom have changed that. There are points in life where we’ve used up all the choices that lead to stability, comfort, and what we consider typical; Homeostasis.

When that time comes, and believe me just as you think you’ve figured out the workaround it will, there is nothing but change ahead.

My horizon is nebulous. Yet I’ve made the only real choice at the fork. Acceptance. With that comes the doing of the delayed.

Hunter S Thompson once said “Those who procrastinate have their choices made for them by circumstance.” This is true. But it is always and only our perspective that fills in the color of our decisions.

I say, who better to set the course than what I’ve come to know as “God”. Regardless of secular identity, or in my case lack there of, faith can and will guide one to destinations catered appropriately.

I’d like to see you all there; and, if you’re willing, join me in picking it apart along the way.

Well a favor implies tit for tat, that you can ask a favor and by surrounding circumstances you’ll return the favor in kind. An example would be like at work between coworkers.

A gift, traditionally, is extended with no strings or caveats. Think a homeless beggar ( which I’ve experienced both sides of that scenario.

Favors could be said to be an exchange across time.

Gifts though culturally augmented to be included under the exchange umbrella are foundation-ally one sided

I was diehard avid redditor when PAN was a thing, have/had 1k followers.

Then Bitcoin came into my life; by that barometer, Reddit is a shitcoin wasteland

Zapping is gift-giving. ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️

Gifts are never free 🎁

Always expectation that a gift will be returned (same form, or different form, but value must be considered equal)

The study of gift-giving and its ties to culture were first investigated academically by Marcel Mauss, a French anthropologist and sociologist. "[Mauss's] main conclusion was that gift-giving is not uninterested — that is, people don’t just give gifts freely and without expectation," said Kray. "In fact, gift-giving usually implies an expectation that something would be given in return at some point, whether that be something material or that be a social relationship that is built through that gift or maintained through that gift.”

Kray and Laver discovered that their own respective findings were consistent with Mauss’s observations. Laver, who spent many years researching abroad in Asia, found Mauss’s comments on reciprocation especially applicable to Japanese gift-giving culture. “If I am in pre-modern Japan, and I gave you a gift, you were now obligated to me,” he said. “By giving a gift to you, I’m binding you to me in a web of social reciprocity.”

“[The Yucatec Maya] have a saying that ‘If someone visits your house, you should always give something, even if it’s just a little water.’ You’re always giving something to your visitor as a sign of hospitality,” Kray said. “And there’s an expectation when you visit them, they will return it to you.”

Laver pointed out how the reciprocal system of gift-giving is also present in Western culture. “Even a gift from Santa Claus is tied to good behavior — naughty or nice, it’s the reciprocal response. Gifts are never just gifts,” he said.

I’d say, by that definition, the lines are being blurred between gifting and favor

As stated somewhere down below; 4th turning

Way to go Saif.

It’s all connected and by design. You (we) arnt wrong or intolerant of anything but change we perceive to be going in a non-productive (to put it kindly) direction.

I personally feel isolated in meat space but I can say with honesty to you (and myself now obviously) you’re not alone.

🤘🙏🤘

Wher 4th turnin’?
