I think the key is what you said about āagreeingā fungibility (in a sense) isnāt found in the item/money. Itās what we agree to see or ignore. Both paper and š½ are fungible when we agree that they become ānewā once they change hands.
I think itās absurd to try and black list coins; itās the most slippery slope.
Essentially central authority could blacklist on the basis of whether they hold the coins or not. āAny coin that isnāt ours is fraudulent.ā That seems absurd and sillyā¦maybe not so much tho after how toed the line became the past few years.
