Participation in the civil rights movement; he was on a course to break rigid societal norms of the time.
He openly sought to steer the nation away from the path that had been established by “the power” to keep power.
The thought behind it, my thought, is that the pain, the segregation, knows no ends.
But, perhaps, they could find a beginning date and run it to date of activation.
But honestly how to repair this blithe on humanity
I agree paying them off is the preferred way of dealing with something that unequivocally can’t be repaid.
But like,
IF the government ever sat down and thought, “ok, what’s the right thing to do…”. See in this fantastic unbelievable example these kinds of impossibilities can happen.
I can’t speak knowingly to what’s just and what these human beings are entitled to….but what about living tax free for life? And their descendants.
There’s no price that can be paid out to make it right, retroactively….But no taxes forwards in time and genealogy? That at least seems like the right scale and scope.
That paying people off thing? That’s rich white people shit.

Probably one to each of the 4 letter agencies in the MI complex.
FML.
Thanks, brother.
I really need to nut up and work on adding vocals…but it’s a process as equally intensive as the whole of producing the instrumental tracks.
I need lessons for real.
I don’t want to lead
Your answer in anyway to my question so I’ll just ask it (it also I suppose depends on when you went and if it was different, objectively, from when I did)…
How would you describe the condition of, not the “tourist” locations like forbidden palace and T. Square, but the kind of everyday “Joe Shmoe” side streets?
I’ll just tell you my feeling so it’s not a guessing game…
Dirty.
And I don’t say that like “oh look at the poverty” or anything remote like that…
It was clear that having, say, independent trash removal companies, competing for contracts by being the best at removing trash, is a superior way to take care of that aspect of a city.
Mounds of garbage pushed into corners… mountains of rubble from structures that made it to that phase of demolition but never past for whatever reason.
That trip opened my eyes. But not in anyway that was negative to America’s…well…other than between now and then we’ve been on a tear twards centralization and anti-diversity in terms of business and competition.
It’s amazing to me that I can say the things said in that last paragraph there and people think I’m some alt-right, anarchist who hates America…
No.
It’s “the people” who’ve become anti-American via violent willful ignorance.
God save us.

I don’t want to pry but did you enjoy it?
I went WAY back when…shit…before I could vote. Took Chinese in High school (heard it was an easy elective) and that class took a trip at the end of every year…about 3 weeks long, all kind of cities and even the last week in Tibet.
Amazing, eye opening experience that would impact me for life…most importantly it taught me to value what we (Americans) have in a MUCH more considerate and respectful manner. And honestly, by a more micro degree, how to hold value for others as a result of what we have ourselves…
Traveling abroad I think is really important for anyone who claims to be open minded. Or wants to do any kind of community/ political work.
Just realized your @ … I always get a little excited; “there’s people in this state that just might understand where I’m coming from!?!
Hope you find yourself blessed
