US debt downgraded from AAA to AA+, even though the US economy is thriving.

So why the downgrade? Because of Republicans and Jan 6. The United States caused catastrophic distrust in the US because Kevin McCarthy led by loons in the GOP held the debt ceiling hostage. The insurrection on Jan 6 also added global distrust in America because America is relied on globally to be a functioning democracy.
