Do it! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
Man, I suddenly want a glass of wine for some reason
I read a book meant for housewives that was written in the 80s, it's honestly been really helping me get the house clean /ᐠ - ˕ -マ
Bodega with no dega
Like a discord kitten for hire then? Lmao I'm sure there's a market for that
I don't notice much (if any) difference between drinking coffee vs tea during the day but for some reason tea seems to make it way harder to fall asleep than coffee. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Deleted my LinkedIn years ago, never gonna regret it ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

This is really holding bitcoin back as a MoE imo. Direct crypto pricing is required in order for a crypto future. I've seen some monero vendors who use the 3 or 6 month simple moving average in order to price in xmr and I think that's a much more reasonable (and less volatile) way to do things
He asked me to get him a beer right after I took this
I looked into it and it seems like the only current technologies that could do this is m-disk or eeprom. M-disk doesn't fit my cartridge concept but is theoretically stable for up to 1000 years. Eeprom is not commercially made bigger than 4MB so is out for anything larger than a couple songs, but is allegedly also very stable.
I saw something about 5D data crystals but it seems like something that's pretty far off (if ever) for the consumer market
Would anyone else be interested in a physical cartridge format for audio and video? Think something like a Nintendo switch game or just a beefy SD card.
I've been buying CDs and DVDs lately and would love to have a format option that's more resilient than plastic disks (especially if they could also be EMF resistant) and could last for 10s of years even with regular use.
Maybe I'm just weird though
There are some cool people on here, just gotta be patient with there being no algorithm and all. It's taken me a few months to find just 100 people to follow and honestly most of them are brand accounts anyways
I've got my phone usage to an acceptable level, I think right now YouTube on my TV is the biggest issue. Gotta find a big freezer 🧊
My bank (and presumably others) requires their app with location services enabled in order to use Zelle, which is the least shitty way I've found to send fiat to people. 😮💨
Fighting the good fight
I wanna say I've seen Final mention something about running webapps on android being more secure than installing a full-fat app. At least on GrapheneOS and using Vanadium.
I imagine that would mostly be for apps that are generally just a gloried browser with additional tracking (think amazon, x, etc) so it maybe doesn't apply in this case. I'll try to find their post talking about it.
It certainly feels that way. It's unfortunate that the nostr people who are big on zaps and circular economy don't demand that the features they use every day get integrated at layer 1
Once I buy a house, I'm exchanging so much more of my income into monero
What the world needs right now is a psychedelic revolution 🍄
Nah, I only keep some spending money on a hot wallet on my phone, the majority is kept on a hardware wallet that I only plug in to a trusted desktop computer
I would have said use the my-monero wallet but they've decided to sunset after over a decade and now everyone is migrating to the cake wallet (apparently).
nostr:npub12546jyw4jpf5fgum38qzn0yxyqzkkuawhe9gjnkpulwgtad7w8gqgarcrn which one of the two do you prefer personally?
I've only used cake (monero.com) and monerujo and prefer cake, but I think I'm going to try monfluo, it seems clean and doesn't have all the swap and "services" built-in like cake which I will never use.
That should be fine but doesn't hurt to explore other options 👍👍
For p2p xmr<->fiat - retoswap
For running a node and mining - gupaxx
For hot wallet - I would normally say cake (monero only version) but they have some weird stuff going on, so maybe try monerujo or monfluo
For circular economy - xmrbazaar
